Route 06 Roblox Getting Started in Route 06
Survive your first drive from spawn car to military outpost extraction.
Route 06 is a co-op survival horror experience on Roblox by OutLaik. One to five players spawn beside a beat-up car on a procedurally rolled highway, loot random structures for valuables, sell junk to C4RL at scripted checkpoints, fight Regular, Sprinter, Charger, and Boomer zombies, survive Plague nights after the first checkpoint, and finish with a military outpost siege where generators call rescue. The game is in alpha — expect rough edges, shifting balance, and missing tutorial text. This guide replaces that gap so your first run feels intentional instead of chaotic.
Watch the official trailer embedded above for mood and pacing, then use the sections below as a practical checklist.
Install and lobby basics
Open the official Route 06 page on Roblox and join a public server or party with friends. Private lobbies work but confirm chat commands like /redeemcode if you plan to claim Codes before rolling. Redeem active promos such as DARILLUFIXYOURGAME (1,300 Lunacy + Meat Skewer) or Booksmart in lobby via the envelope icon — details on How to Redeem Codes.
Spend Lunacy on an alternate survivor if you still use the default. Roster includes William, Marcus, Clayton, Stella, Kimberly, Ethan, Shiryo, and v0.3 additions Alan and Lucy — nine playable survivors at Denis’s shop. Each survivor changes stamina, utility, and team role. Browse Players and the Tier List before buying.
Understand the win condition
You do not win by infinite driving. The map spawns a military outpost far down the road — commonly around 4,500–4,600 meters. Reach it, power generators (2 solo, up to 6 at five players), survive the final wave, and extract. Distance traveled pays Tokens (~1 per 20 meters) plus kill bonuses and a large completion payout. In-run Coins only matter for C4RL purchases and vending; they reset when the run ends.
First five minutes
- Assign roles — one driver, others ready to loot shortly after.
- Enter the car — driver seat starts the engine; see Controls for keybinds.
- Drive toward structure icons — houses and roadside POIs hold valuables and ammo.
- Load the trunk — store bulky loot for later C4RL sales instead of dropping items when Sprinters chase.
- Communicate — Route 06 has no ping system; call out Charger wind-ups and Boomer vomit clouds.
Do not sprint ahead solo before your team agrees on a loot rhythm. Night spawns punish scattered players once checkpoint progression triggers Plague.
Your first checkpoint (C4RL)
The first C4RL’s Checkpoint is a scripted safe window. C4RL buys valuables for Coins, sells random weapons and tools, always stocks 50% gas and a bandage, and offers vending drinks. Two floor plates control flow: Ready Up (green) starts the next road segment early when everyone stands on it; the other teleports your car forward for escalating Coin fees if you left it behind.
You have roughly 90 seconds before C4RL closes the gate and zombies can enter. New players should sell trash, buy ammo or a better melee tool, top fuel, and read the full breakdown in Checkpoints & C4RL.
Passing this first checkpoint flips the horror clock: Plague can appear on subsequent nights. Read Survive Plague at Night before your first sunset on the road.
Combat primer
Zombie types stack pressure over distance:
- Regular — slow fodder; conserve ammo with melee when safe.
- Sprinter — closes fast; dodge sideways, do not backpedal blindly.
- Charger — telegraphed rush; sidestep or stun with focused fire.
- Boomer — explodes into toxic clouds; finish at range.
Plague is different: unkillable, night-only after checkpoint one, grabs players who burn stamina. Mash Q + E to break grabs or rely on teammates to interrupt. Never treat Plague like a Boss DPS check.
Weapon and healing details live in Weapons & Items. Structure routing and Traffic Stop keys are in Structures & Loot.
Mid-run goals
After two or three checkpoints you should have:
- Stable fuel and a trunk full of sellables
- At least one ranged weapon for Boomers
- Team agreement on who carries healing
- A map rhythm: loot → drive → C4RL → repeat
The halfway Traffic Stop gates the route behind a locked door. Search the area for a key, solve the local puzzle, and expect Plague during night — hold until dawn if needed. Rushing the puzzle with Plague active ends runs.
Military outpost finale
When GPS distance closes on 4,500+ meters, prep consumables and ammo. The military outpost is a holdout: assign players to generators, others clear lanes, and rotate when Sprinters leak inside. Generator count scales with party size — solo finishes with 2, full five-stack needs 6 active. Full tactics: Military Outpost Finale.
Extraction grants chunky Tokens. Reinvest into survivors and cosmetics; stack Tokens & Farming strategies on later runs.
Co-op etiquette
Even with strangers, basic rules win alpha nights:
- Ready Up only when the team is physically on the plate
- Do not teleport the car without asking — fees drain shared economy
- Pass Plague aggro in circles instead of running toward looters
- Share vending purchases when Coins are tight
More advanced callouts and role charts: Co-op Tips.
After your first extract
- Count Tokens earned and compare to code-granted Lunacy.
- Unlock a survivor that fixes your weakest link (stamina for night, DPS for outpost).
- Re-read Survive Plague if nights killed you.
- Follow Updates for swamp patches and balance passes.
Route 06 rewards repeated routes — learn the systems once, then push higher distances, cleaner outpost clears, and optimized Token farming loops.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is there a tutorial in Route 06?
Not really. Alpha build drops you in with minimal text — use this guide and the Controls page instead.
When does Plague first appear?
After your team passes the first C4RL checkpoint, during night cycles. It does not spawn before that.
How many friends can I bring?
Up to five players total per run including you. Difficulty and outpost generators scale with count.
Should I redeem codes before my first run?
Yes. Claim every working code in lobby for Lunacy, then buy a survivor that fits your playstyle.
